Privacy

Privacy is a product feature.

SureBe is a personal data layer, not an inbox archive and not a data broker. This notice explains what we collect, how email is treated, and how you can export or delete your account.

Who is responsible

COZQ Limited is the controller for personal data processed through SureBe. Questions: hello at surebe.com.

What we collect

Your account email, the structured records you add or confirm, and the minimum evidence needed to support those records. If you connect Gmail or Outlook we process messages to extract fields such as merchant, amount, dates and reference numbers. We also keep the technical minimum needed to run the service: session cookies, security logs and, when you pay, billing status from Stripe.

How email is treated

Email ingestion is extraction, not archiving. Messages are processed transiently. We store source identifiers, structured fields and the smallest evidence needed to show why a record exists. We do not keep raw inbox copies unless you later turn on a separate, off-by-default retention option.

What we do not do

We do not sell personal financial information. We do not use your inbox to train public models. We do not invent amounts or dates. Secrets such as API keys are never shown in SureBe Control. We do not connect to your bank as part of the core product, and we do not turn SureBe into a receipt museum.

How long we keep it

Structured records stay until you delete them or delete the account. Session cookies last for the signed-in session. Security logs are kept only as long as needed to operate and protect the service. If you disconnect an inbox, we stop reading new mail from that connection.

Your rights

You can export your data or delete your account from Settings. UK GDPR rights apply, including access, rectification and erasure. Contact hello at surebe.com if you cannot use the in-product tools.

Cookies

We use host-only session cookies on the API to keep you signed in, plus a CSRF cookie. These are required for the service to work. We do not use advertising cookies.

Children

SureBe is for people aged 18 or over. We do not knowingly create accounts for children.

Changes

If this notice changes in a material way, we will update the date above. The current version always lives at this page.
